US Tennis Open: If a player loses the first round then Unibet will refund the bet.

Champions League football 2011-2012: A refund if offered on all games that finish 0-0 for the bet types: losing correct score, first goal scorer / last goal scorer and halftime / fulltime bets.

Headquartered in Malta, Unibet.com is a sportsbook that has earned eGaming Review’s “European Sports betting Operator of the Year” award in 2006, 2008 and 2009. They’ve also been in the running late during those years that they’ve missed out. Unibet’s success goes beyond favourable review though. As a sportsbook, they’ve been quite effective at earning loyal customers through customer service, high odds, low commissions, free bets and so forth.

Unibet.com’s most accessible free bet is their initial deposit bonus, which they award on any first deposit of £10 up to a maximum of £20. So if you begin your Unibet betting career with a £20 deposit, you’ll have £40 to play with, which should be more than enough to get a feel for the sportsbook and to decide whether it’s the right one for you. There are, however, certain conditions you must meet before that bonus money is available to you for withdrawal.

Unibet will deposit the bonus money into your account immediately, and you’ll be able to wager that money immediately. In other words, you can deposit £20, turn around and make a £40 wager. In order to withdraw the £20 bonus, you must “clear” it. In order to clear at Unibet, you must turn the money over six times at 1.4 (2/5) odds or greater. So to clear your £20 free bet, you must wager £120, which is a little steep compared to most other books.

Unibet.com also offers clients a loyalty program. The program is at its most lucrative when playing poker and casino games, but it is still reasonably effective for sports bettors. Bettors earn loyalty points on each wager made, and they can trade those points in for cash, free bets or even merchandise, such as televisions and football shirts. Unibet also offers promotional free bets (double and triple bets) that you can access simply by betting that event.
